Need some gardening tools?
Kagsåkollegiet’s residents have the possibility to borrow tools and gardening equipment from the workshop. You can borrow gardening tools, for example: lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and much more. The workshop committee has specific days during each month when they open the garden shed, so the residents can come and borrow tools. The committee informs about the opening days a few days in advance on the Kagsåkollegiet Facebook page.
Want to book tools?
The workshop committee provides tools for all residents to use, so if you need, for example, an electric drill next Saturday, you can contact the workshop committee via email and reserve the tool for that day, ensuring it is available when you need it. Just follow the 3 easy steps below:
- Send an email to vaerksted@kagsaakollegiet.dk with a description of what you wish to reserve.
- We will respond to your email and inform you if the requested tools are available. A possible pickup time will also be provided (pickup time will be agreed upon via email beforehand).
- Upon pickup, you will sign for receiving the reserved tools and for accepting the terms and conditions for borrowing and using the tools.
Borrowing the tools is free, BUT it is expected that the tools are used only for the purpose they were designed for. If we receive a defective tool due to obvious misuse, the borrower will be held responsible for paying for a replacement. (This is only in case of clear misuse, and it does not apply to commonly replaced parts such as drill bits, blades, and sandpaper.)
We suggest that you reserve tools well in advance since there is a few days’ response time, due to the committee being run by volunteers.
